Vikedal Local Museum consists of several buildings around a farm yard. In addition to the old

Buildings, mill, “røykstove” and a store house, there is a fairly new building from 1983.

The museum is located close to road to Mo, approximately, one kilometer northeast from

Vikedal centre. The collections consists of items from work and daily life, and from local ship

yards. Tall ship models are also included in the collections as well as a special book

collection from the old Vikedal Reading Society.
